This is an early announcement for the new ada archiver

As you all know the development of both lha and lzx, the most used AmigaOS archivers, has been interrupted and so there is no possibility for further enhancements, bug fixes and even ports to pOS.
Here comes ada!
ada has been designed to achive high compression and to be ported to pOS, because it wants to be the future Amiga archiver.
Here is a brief list of the main features of ada:

	Uses the powerful and well tested deflate algorithm
	Has been designed to achive best possible compression out of this algorithm
	Uses the same command line syntax of both lha and lzx
	Will offer a special and easy to use Workbench mode
	Will be ported to pOS as soon as possible

ada is currently under development, I hope to release a public beta within a few weeks.
ada will be shareware, but I really want to keep the price low. Future announcements will offer more detailed informations about this.
